Welcome to Starlight ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using this website (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Starlight is a novelty gifting service. When you submit a name and dedication along with a payment of ₹10, we display the name on a public web page (the "sky"). The display is for entertainment and remembrance purposes only and confers no rights to actual celestial objects, astronomical bodies, or any registered star-naming registry. No physical product is delivered.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a legal guardian, to use this Service.

3. Acceptable Content

Names and dedications you submit must not contain:

• Hate speech, threats, harassment, or profanity
• Sexually explicit, violent, or graphic content
• Personal information of others without their consent
• Trademarks, brand names, or content protected by intellectual property law
• Solicitations, spam, or commercial promotion
• Anything unlawful under Indian law

We reserve the right to remove any submission that violates these terms, at our sole discretion and without refund.

4. Payments

All payments are processed by Razorpay. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay's terms and privacy policy. All transactions are in Indian Rupees (INR). The price for a single submission is ₹10 unless stated otherwise on the homepage.

5. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The design, code, and content of the Service (excluding user submissions) are owned by the operator. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute it without written permission. You retain ownership of the text you submit, but grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to display it on the Service.

7. Account & Content Suspension

We may suspend access or remove your submission at any time if we determine, in good faith, that you have violated these terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (₹10).

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
